引っ越します☆/I`m moving!

急に引っ越しが決まりました！
今住んでいる所は、新社会人になってから６年住んでいるのですが、今月が更新月で。でも更新して後２年住むイメージが持てず、12月末に様子見のつもりで探し始めたら、もうすでに賃貸シーズンはピークは始まっており、インターネットで気に入った部屋を問い合わせても、もう借りられてしまっていると言うスピードで事は動いており。あれよあれよと言うまに決めちゃい&決まっちゃいました！
ちょっと急展開すぎて、環境の変化がちょっと苦手な私はドキドキしてますが。実は今週末移動です。先週末は母と妹が荷造りを手伝ってくれて、今はダンボールに囲まれて寝てます。
でも引っ越すと言う実感はまだあまり無く、とても不思議。
今住んでるアパートは、アメリカで４年大学に行った後に始めて東京で一人暮らしを始めた部屋。色んなことがありました。始めて会社で働き始めて、カルチャーショックもあり、何が分からないか分からないくらいに戸惑ったり。出会いもあり、別れも有り。当時はただただ懸命で、あまり実感できてなかったですが、色々な変化に自分を慣らさなくてはならず、とってもとっても疲労してました。軽い風邪をひいたことくらいしか無かったのが、初めて何ヶ月も休まなくてはならないくらい身体を壊してしまったり。部屋に居た記憶が不思議とそんなに無いのですが、アパートから駅への道は、「色んなこと考えたり、楽しかったり、ふらふらになったりして行き来したな・・・。」と、とても感慨深いです。
新しいお家は同じ区内だけど、使う電車も変わり、地域的にはちょっと変化が。部屋は今より新しい雰囲気だけど、ちょびっと広めで窓も大きく明るい部屋です。
引越しはやることが多くって、ちょっと変化も怖かったけど、どんどん前向きになってきた。健康で新しいことにチャレンジできて幸せ。
新しいステップ！新しい環境！とても楽しみかも。

I am moving!
I have been living in the current apartment for 6 years, and Feb 2010 was the contract renewal time. However, I just couldn`t picture myself to live there for another two years...So I started to look at new places to live last December just for fun, only to find out that peak season for apartment rentals was already starting... (Since new school year, work year usually starts in April in Japan, Jan-Mar is a big moving season).I`d check room specs online, call in and find that it has been rented a minute ago... craziness!
So I kinda went with the flow and I had my new room before I knew it!It happened so fast that I`m still catching up to the thought of leaving an environment that I stayed for some time...But believe it or not, it`s moving day this weekend, on the 13th. My mom and sister came to pack my room last weekend, so I am sleeping in midst of boxes.
But still, I have a hard time believing that I`m moving. It`s strange.
So many things happened during these 6 years including getting so sick that I had to take months off from work for the first time in my life. I usually hardly catch a cold.I actually don`t have so many memories of spending time in my room, but the way from my apartment to the nearest station is full of memories of what I went through.
The new apartment is in the same district as now, but slightly a different region so the feel of the environment is a bit different. The room itself is pretty spacious compared to average with big windows with lots of sunshine.
There were so many things to do before moving and I was bit scared of the big change, but it`s starting to be exciting.I am so grateful that I am over with everything that happened, now healthy willing and able to face new things. New change in environment will be totally fun!
